From April 3rd to 6th in the San Diego Gaslamp District was the CPRS show – The first CPRS at the convention center in 20 years and this show had the highest participation in over 8 years! With that known, we were pumped to bring our new products, the pub crawl, and our new DBA team members to the community. Now, with some time to reflect, we thought we’d share our thoughts from the show!

CPRS week kicked off with the multi-day build-up of our 18-booth-wide presence at the show! We gotta thank our very hard-working installers for making this all happen!

Both days of the event were packed full of amazing play products and faces new and old in the industry! Standing out among the rest, our Berliner “DNA Tower” lorded over the show with its mesmerizing patterns of rope and metal.

Standing opposite the DNA tower and welcoming attendees to our booth was the immaculate new Playworld Quito rope-play structure with the Mighty Decent slide! This slide was a smash hit over the show as countless fun-loving folk took their turns trying them out!

Along with showing off new and fun play products, our crew was hard at work getting the CPRS attendees signed up for our Pub Crawl!

The Pub Crawl is a tradition that we brought to the CPRS shows about six years ago and since has only grown! We are not exaggerating when we say we are ecstatic with the turnout we had on Wednesday night! With a showing of around 600 people, this event was both amazingly fun and outrageous! For a bit of background on the event, we had our participants start at this night club (NOVA SD), meander on to 6 other pubs/bars, and come back with their scorecards all filled out! Once the cards were all collected, we gave out prizing, and that’s when the real party began! We had dueling pianists playing all night and the throwbacks, ballads, and sing-alongs they played left the whole room elated!

Thank you so much to Marc Gutfeld, Lydie Gutfeld, Stefan Huber, and the DBA sales crew for going above and beyond to make this event a total success!
